Hi I’m Lys!

I’m an author/ illustrator with ADHD, anxiety, and dyslexia. I’m quite the introvert and consider myself an amateur Folklorist, always preferring to draw or dig up stories on cryptids and creatures than be in a crowd.

Influences and inspirations for my art and stories come from my love of folklore, cryptids, Halloween, and dealing with my anxiety and trauma.

My Little Shop

While I opened Pink Pomegranate Books in 2020 to follow my dreams of publishing my own books, you will find more than just stories while pursuing my items. Cryptids, Magic, and Lore illustrate stickers, journals, and even sun catchers! Some of my favorite things to illustrate at the moment are Mothman, Baba Yaga’s Chicken Hut, and Planchettes.

I work primarily in digital when creating my books but adore playing with a mix of watercolor, gouache, ink, and colored pencils for my illustrations.

Mothman and the Halloween Parade
